Medicare

Medicare Basics

In a nutshell, Medicare is health insurance that begins, typically, the month that you turn 65 years old. Medicare can be very daunting at first as there are so many parts and factors involved that can make things complicated and confusing. And some of the decisions that you make can have lasting effects that will impact you years down the road. Don’t make those important decisions on your own. When Medicare is coming up, call us and let us help guide you through the process to make sure that you feel confident to pick the plan that best fits your needs. Signing up for Medicare can also be a very lengthy process that can often require multiple steps so it’s always a good idea to call ahead and give yourself plenty of time to plan, discuss, make changes, & review.

If you are new to Medicare, then you’ll want to click above where it says, “I am new to Medicare” to get started.

If you’re already on Medicare it’s a good idea to review your plan every year during the “Annual Election Period” that starts in October. Click above where it says “I need to review my Medicare” for more information.

If you’ll be experiencing a life event like moving or starting a new job, it’s a good idea to talk to us to see if any changes need to be made to your current Medicare plans. Click above where it says “I’m expecting a life change” for more information.
