Some things to consider when looking for dental & vision insurance:

Who is this for? Are you looking for insurance for just yourself or for multiple people?

What is this for? Are you anticipating needing to have any serious dental work done in the near future that you’re concerned about? Is this primarily just for routine exams and cleanings?

Who is your provider? Do you currently have a dentist/doctor that you go to or are you looking around for a new one? It’s always best to choose one who is in-network with your insurance. If you already have a doctor, you can click the links below for each company and see if they are listed. If you don’t have a doctor yet you can start by narrowing down which plan you’re most interested in and then selecting a doctor from their list.

What is your current coverage status? Have you recently had a dental plan, or do you currently have a dental plan that will be ending soon? Sometimes new waiting periods can be waived if you do not have too much of a gap in coverage.

When do you need this to start? Do you have an appointment coming up? Will you be losing coverage soon?

Now that you’ve gone through the list, it’s time to start shopping! You can click on the logos below to see different plan options. To the right of each logo is a link to help you find a dentist that goes with the plans. If you already have a dentist it’s a good idea to make sure that your new plan will actualy cover their services. If you don’t already have a dentist, you can shop for plans first to find one you like and then look at the list of dentists for that plan to find one that sounds good to you.
